INTRODUCTION

PetroVietnam Coating Joint Stock Company (PVCOATING) is a member of PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV Gas) and oparates under Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam – PVN). Established in August 31^st 2007, the company was initially named PetroVietnam Industrial Park Development & Investment Joint Stock Companyand then changed named as PetroVietnam Gas Construction & Investment Joint Stock Company (PVID) in June 2009. Since April 18^th 2013, at the Annual Shareholder Meeting, the company has been named PetroVietnam Coating Joint Stock Company (PVCOATING).

Our pipe coating plant is located in Phu My 1 Industrial Zone – Tan Thanh District – Ba Ria Vung Tau Province – Vietnam, one of the most thriving industrial zones in Vietnam with modern infrestructure and convenient location. Particularly, the plant is located on National Highway No.51, which connects Ho Chi Minh city – the biggest financial and econimic city and Vung Tau city – the hard of the oil and gas exploration in Vietnam. Besides, there are 3 international deep-water ports nearby, namely Sp-PSA port, SITV port and Tan Cang Cai Mep port. Therefore, PVCOATING’s plant can take the advantages of its geographical position to facilitate the transportation of bare pipes and coated pipes from and to all over the world.

Pipe Coating Plant is the first and exclusive coating plant in Vietnam using advanced technology and mordern equipment of the world to coat line pipes and bends. The equipment is provided by Bauhuis International BV – Netherlands with a total capacity of 500km of coated pipes per year. Pipe Coating Plant started operating in the middle of June 2010. Until now, PVCOATING has completed more than 30 projects, with total length of coated pipes is more than 600km.

PVCOATING always focus on quality of coating services in all of its production and business activities. PVCOATING laboratory has been equiped with mordern machinery since its foundation and certified in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2005. In addition, PVCOATING has built and applied successfully Management System to ensure coating services in compliance with high quality standards and clients’ technical specifications. Health – Safety – Environment – Quality management system of PVCOATING has been certified by DET NORSKE VERITAS (DNV) according to ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS 18001:2007.

All coated pipes of PVCOATING are always in compliance with internationally recognized quality standards: CSA Z245.20, Z245.21, Z245.22 (Canada), Din 30 670, Din 30 678 (Germany), NF A49-710, NF A49-711 (France), NACE RP0394, EN 253 (Europe) và ISO 21809.
