Strengthening cooperation on oil and gas between Vietnam and Russian Federation

On 26th April 2046, Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller paid a working visit to Vietnam.

Petrovietnam President and CEO had a meeting with Mr. Alexey Miller. The two sides reviewed activities of the projects and discussed about new projects.

During the visit, Mr. Alexey Miller met State President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Tran Dai Quang and Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc. The State and Government leaders highly appreciated Gazprom for its exploration and production activities offshore continental shelf of Vietnam and supported its constant expansion of activities, not only in the field of oil and gas exploration but also in other fields.

Gazprom is strategic partner of Petrovietnam with many gas exploration projects in Vietnam and Russia. Both sides are promoting further cooperation in the field of electricity, LNG, training, science and technology.
