With the approval of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group in the Resolution No. 1000/NQ-DKVN (4/5/2015) on the Group’s staff, PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) has carried out steps on voting/ appointment in compliance with regulations and on 09/05/2015 has issued the Decision No. 606/QD-KVN appointing Mr. Duong Manh Son to hold the post of Member of BOD and President &CEO of PV GAS.

 

 

Mr. Duong Manh Son, born on 23/11/1969, is the holder of Mechanic Engineer degree in Welding Technology and Master degree of Business Administration. Mr. Duong Manh Son has joined the Petroleum industry and PV GAS since 1994 and 2002, respectively. After a period of time working at Division’s leadership positions in the member company of PV GAS, Mr. Duong Manh Son was appointed Vice President in 2/2009 and has become Permanent Vice President of PV GAS since 08/2013, Member of the Standing Board, Party Committee of PV Gas, of 2010-2015 tenure.

 

In the course of working, Mr. Duong Manh Son together with PV GAS leaders has proved active, creative and aggressive in leadership, instruction on work performance, well fulfilling important tasks in production and business activities of PV GAS in specific and the gas industry in general, always outstandingly completing assigned duties according to PVN’s evaluation.

 

Mr. Duong Manh Son has also been awarded with honors: Labor Medal of Third Class, Merit Certificate of the Prime Minister in 2010, Emulative Fighter title of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in 2011, Merit Certificates of PVN from 2010 to 2014, Fighter at Grassroots level from 2010 to 2014.
