From June 8th 2015, PVCOATING has implemented the line pipe coating service for “Gas Pipeline for ThTC2-MSP8, block 09-01 – Tho Trang project”, of which Vietsovpetro is an investor and PVC-MS is a contractor.
Tho Trang platform is a newest well head platform and typical one for 4th generation, with a total weight is 3.200 tons; it can be connected to 12 drilling wells and installed in the deep-water about 50m.
The line pipe coating package for Tho Trang project is performed by PVCOATING, applying anti-corrosion coating (FBE), thermal insulation coating (PUF), concrete weight coating (CWC) and anode installation on 7km of 12 inch pipe: 0.3mm FBE + 30mm PUF + 5mm HDPUF + 40mm CWC. The total value of coating package is nearly 50 billion VND and PVCOATING has handed over the coated pipe in July 2015.
